Start by sending me an email or filling out the booking form on my website with your idea, size, placement, and any reference images. I’ll review your request and provide a time estimate. Once we finalize the details, you’ll need to call the studio of your preference to schedule your appointment and leave your deposit.
Yes. A deposit is required to book your appointment. The amount depends on the size and complexity of your tattoo. The deposit goes toward the final price, secures your appointment date, and allows me to begin working on your design.
It depends on size, detail, and placement. I’ll give you an estimate during the booking process.
Yes. All my tattoos are custom and created specifically for each client.
Absolutely. References are very helpful to understand your vision and style preferences.
Yes, you can request to review your design before your appointment. Otherwise, it will be presented on the day. We’ll go over everything together, and if you have any concerns or would like adjustments, we can refine the design to make sure it’s exactly right for you.
Of course. Minor adjustments can be made on the day. Larger changes or new concepts may require rescheduling.
Sometimes, yes. But I’ll always guide you to make sure the design stays balanced, easy to read, and works well as a tattoo.
Avoid alcohol, drugs, or anything that may thin your blood or leave you feeling tired or unprepared before your session. Being well-rested and hydrated helps ensure the best experience.
Wear something comfortable that allows easy access to the area being tattooed.
I can guide you to choose the best size and placement so your tattoo ages well and looks balanced on your body.
That’s okay. I can help you refine your idea, but having a general direction (theme, subject, references) makes the process smoother.
Pain varies depending on placement and individual tolerance, but most clients find it manageable.
Yes, numbing cream can be used, but only the product provided by the studio is allowed, in accordance with Atticus Tattoo and Legacy Tattoo policies. If you choose to use it, you’ll need to sign a waiver acknowledging the potential risks and arrive 1 hour before your appointment so the cream can be properly applied. Numbing creams typically contain lidocaine, so sensitivity can vary from person to person. The effects usually last 1–2 hours and may wear off during the session, which can cause a sudden increase in discomfort. In some cases, numbing cream can cause redness, or make the skin more difficult to work with. It may also affect how the ink settles and how the tattoo heals, potentially requiring additional touch-ups. Although rare, allergic reactions are also possible. For these reasons, I recommend discussing it with me in advance so we can decide if it’s the best option for your tattoo!
Deposits are non-refundable. To reschedule and keep your deposit, at least 48 hours’ notice is required, in accordance with studio policy. While emergencies such as medical or family situations are understood, last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in the loss of your deposit, as per studio policy.
If you arrive late, your appointment may be shortened or rescheduled depending on availability.
You may bring one person only to accompany you during your appointment.
I tattoo clients 16 years and older with parental consent. A parent or legal guardian must be present at the appointment.
You’ll receive detailed aftercare instructions at your appointment. Following them is essential for proper healing.
Initial healing takes about 3–4 weeks. Full healing may take a bit longer depending on the tattoo.
Most tattoos heal well, but touch-ups may be needed in some cases, especilly fine line tattoos and cover ups.
